About the project :

I am Rimpal Jain, I am a student of St Angela Sophia school (Missionary charitable non-profitable trust), India. I have been admitted to the Applied Science & Engineering session at Yale University's prestigious Yale Young Global Scholars summer program

This July, I will have the opportunity to spend two weeks taking classes at Yale University with some of the brightest high school students from around the world, doing Engineering projects. I am one of the 200 students from around the globe to be accepted, and, further, one of the few accepted students to be awarded a $5000 scholarships!

Yale's financial aid will cover tuition. However, it does not pay for my plane tickets, visa/ passport, and living costs. The amount due for the tuition, after the scholarship discount, is $800 and travel expenses worth $1200.

My father is an assistant development officer in Oriental Insurance Company and our family of 6 depends on him for our daily needs. Coming from a middle-class family, we will not be able to afford to incur these costs of $2000 (INR 1,30,000) on our own. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me to experience something like this and expand my horizons, realise my dreams and bring back my learnings to India.

Please support my crowdfunding campaign, even a small contribution will help me go a long way.

Pass this link to EVERY kind person you know and please put in a word for me!
